Hydrosols are distilled plant waters.

Subtle, but direct.

I started distilling with a small copper alembic years ago, mostly out of curiosity. It turned into something I take seriously.

Working with plants this way changes your relationship to them. You’re not just using them, you’re paying attention. The process is slow and requires you to stay with it the entire time.

I don’t approach this like production. These are made in small batches, when the plant and the timing feel right. It’s closer to a practice than a product line.

These aren’t meant to sit on a shelf. They’re meant to be used.
