I’ve been working with plants and herbal medicine since 2013. I studied formally through the Herbal Academy, but most of what I trust came from years of direct experience, trial, and paying attention.
I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2015 and that’s where everything deepened. The mountains, the constant exposure to living systems, and a growing pull toward being outside as much as possible. I spent two years living alone in a ghost town at the foothills, surrounded by forest. That’s where my practice became real. Working with wild plants, learning their patterns, forming relationships with them over time instead of just using them.
Being outdoors isn’t just something I enjoy, it’s where everything makes sense. It’s where the body settles, where the noise of modern life drops, and where the nervous system can actually recalibrate. I’ve built my life around that as much as possible, because I’ve seen what happens when you don’t.
Alongside this, I trained as a yoga teacher and developed a personal practice rooted in how the body responds to stress, environment, and rhythm.
Over the years I’ve moved through my own physical and spiritual healing, not through quick fixes, but through changing how I live, how I eat, and how I relate to my body. I believe the body is designed to heal, but only when the conditions actually allow it to.
I’m drawn to sunlight, seasonal living, and ancestral patterns that modern life tends to override. I raise my daughter in that awareness too, keeping her connected to land, rhythm, and the natural world as much as I can.
Everything I share comes from lived experience first, and from a life built in relationship with the land, not separate from it.
